F Ahmed
F Ahmed joined Seraphus in 2025, as a Solicitor in the Legal Aid team. She represents clients eligible for Legal Aid, including asylum matters (up to appeal), judicial reviews, and matters attracting Exceptional Case Funding. She also assists clients with significant levels of vulnerability, including victims of trafficking and those with significant mental ill-health.
Previously she spent five years delivering casework funded by the Legal Aid Agency (including immigration, asylum, public law, actions against police and Inquests), within large law firms and across the charity sector as well as an Immigration Caseworker for an MP.
F Ahmed has been a long-standing campaigner and spends her spare time organising within networks that primarily focus on aims that are anti-racist, anti-imperialist and in solidarity with people who move across borders. Holding key roles in Trade Unions, she supports workers to improve their working conditions, wherever they are, seeks to engage in wider political education programmes, whilst continuing to learn more about struggles around the world. She has also previously been involved with international legal NGOs, including learning from and within networks initiated within Palestine and Sudan.
She holds a BA in Law (Jurisprudence) from the University of Oxford and an LLM., as well as an accreditation as a Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
